12 AUGUST, from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm: the family day event ‘Creative Together, Strong Together!’ - The town of Bauska will become the epicentre of a creative, educational and family-friendly event.
👥 Who will be taking part?
The event will feature various representatives from the private sector, the non-governmental sector and state/local government institutions, who will offer exciting activities, valuable information and practical workshops for the whole family:
🔹 Non-governmental organisations and businesses:
✅ Time for Young People – take part in creative workshops and find out about the opportunities offered by the association;
✅ ‘Youth for a Smile’ – discover sports tourism activities;
✅ We Own the World – make your own dream catcher;
✅ Bauska’s Chess Master – challenge yourself to a game of chess or draughts;
✅ Wings of Hope – find out about the organisation, its work and the services it offers;
✅ Bauska Community Centre “PASTA 5” – discover what the “PASTA 5” community centre is all about and take part in creative workshops.
✅ The BUTS Training Centre will give you the chance to spin the wheel of fortune and provide informative details about various training courses.
🔹 State and local government institutions:
✅ State Police – will introduce their work and equipment;
✅ State Border Guard – meet a dog handler;
✅ Emergency Medical Service – take a look at the emergency medical vehicles;
✅ State Fire and Rescue Service – find out about a firefighter’s daily routine and see the new fire engines;
✅ Bauska Hospital – visit the consultation area and take part in a charity campaign;
✅ Youth Guard Centre – activities for young people, demonstrations of weapons and equipment;
✅ Bauska District Tourist Information Centre – discover historical measuring activities, take part in an interactive game;
✅ Bauska District Sports and Health Department – challenge yourself with basketball free throws;
✅ JSPA “EuroPeers” ambassadors – find out about opportunities for young people in Europe.
