The “Laiks Jauniešiem” association had the great honour of welcoming Daiga Mieriņa, Speaker of the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia, to its youth centre in Bauska.

The third season of “Time for Young People”, organised by RFS Football Club, is here!

It is very sad to see Georgia as a non-democratic state, where civil society organisations that look to Europe for inspiration are being ‘silenced’ and, in effect, pushed into a corner.

The “Time to Strengthen Our Community!” ideas hackathon has taken place

This Friday, 20 March, at 5.00 pm, we’d love to invite you to a film night at the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association, 117A Vienības gatve, Riga.

Between 1 October 2025 and 11 March 2026, 3,147 children and young people have already attended the civic participation sessions organised by the association “Laiks Jauniešiem”.

The “Laiks Jauniešiem” association visited Iļģuciems Primary School as part of the project “STEM and civic engagement activities for a broader educational experience and career choices”.

On 26 and 27 February, Elīza Elizabete Loja, a member of our organisation’s board, took part in a Eurodesk network training session in Jūrmala, which brought together 24 youth centres and NGOs from various regions of Latvia.

Representatives of the “New Unity” party – Mārtiņš Felss, a Member of the Saeima, and Mārtiņš Daģis, a Member of the Saeima – visited the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association.

Representatives of the “Progressives” party visited the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association for a meeting – Antoņina Ņenaševa, Deputy Speaker of the Saeima and Member of the Saeima, as well as Selma Levrence, a Member of the Saeima.

FC RFS’s first home match has taken place, with the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association providing a large-scale games and creative activities zone.
