🗣 During the discussion, we focused on the issues we face on a daily basis in the field of youth work – both current issues and problems that require practical and sustainable solutions. We spoke about our experience of working with young people, shared our observations and highlighted what we believe is important to ensure that opportunities, engagement and support for young people in Latvia have greater impact and make a real difference.
📌 It is important to us that decision-makers become familiar not only with the formal side of things, but also with everyday reality – the situations young people find themselves in, the needs that often go unnoticed, and the barriers that are particularly evident when working with young people with limited opportunities.
✨️ We see this meeting as an opportunity not only to introduce the work and future direction of our organisation, but also to foster an understanding of what really matters in the youth sector. It is precisely open dialogue and committed cooperation that form the basis for meaningful decisions and stronger support for young people.
