❤️ 🙌🏻 It was a real pleasure to see the young people who got involved in organising the event right from the planning stage and were genuinely keen to bring joy to the older people and work together with them.
✨️ We also chatted about the most beautiful Latvian folk traditions; the young people shared their experiences of taking part in song festivals and listened to the centre’s residents talk about their favourite Latvian traditions and memories.
🎄 We’ll soon be visiting the ‘Gaiļezers’ Social Care Centre again to prepare for Christmas with the elderly residents and take part in creative activities.
💯 We invite everyone to join us, both on a daily basis at our premises at 117a Vienības gatve, Riga, and during our outreach activities in Riga and Bauska.
The project is co-funded by the European Union. The total funding for the project is EUR 44,998.80, with 85% (EUR 38,248.98) provided by the European Social Fund Plus and 15% (EUR 6,749.82) from the state budget.
