In Garosa, the sun was a flower belt that brought together about 120 festivities.
The SAC's Derglelee branch welcomed visitors from the Iecava, VSAC, Zemgale and SAC, Derglele, Codes branches.
Within the framework of the event, we had the opportunity to provide support to seniors and other residents of care centres, to take part in various traditional festive activities and, of course, to talk to seniors about different traditions and memories of Līgo holidays.
The event took place within the framework of the integration project supported by the Bauska Municipality Council, as well as Time for Youth Intergenerational Dialogue European Solidarity Corps.
It was a great pleasure for us to promote intergenerational dialogue during the festival, providing young people and seniors with the opportunity to support each other and agree together during the celebration.
