📌 Between 3 and 7 December, five young people from our organisation took part in exciting events in Narva – the “Security and Civil Society Conference 2025” and the “Nordic -Baltic Young Chef Competition 2025”.
🎯 It is very important that young people are also given a place at events on such important topics, so that they too have the opportunity to express their views, hear about current issues and feel truly involved.
✍️ 🏻Laura: “At this event, I had the chance to meet lots of people and learn about their views. It was also very interesting to see how people’s cultures were expressed. Above all, I’d say it’s wonderful to see and feel how people of very different nationalities come together and work towards a single goal.”
✍️ 🏻Alise: “The event was very rewarding and inspiring. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to network, as I met lots of different people from various countries, fields and with different backgrounds. The conversations, exchange of ideas and new contacts made this experience very meaningful. Thank you to the organisers!”

✍️ 🏻Sofija: “What I took away most from the conference was how important it is to be able to listen to others and work together to achieve the best possible outcome. The idea of how much we need to think about the future and people’s safety around the world, by helping and listening to those who are at risk both physically and financially, also really stuck with me. I am truly delighted with the new friendships that were formed over these few days, and with how much I was able to learn from each and every one of them.”
✨️ It was also a real joy that our young people took a well-deserved 3rd place in the cooking competition!
