Come and celebrate International Youth Day – in Bauska!

💥 🙌🏻 To mark International Youth Day, the youth organisation “Laiks Jauniešiem” invites everyone interested – young and old alike – to visit the town of Bauska on Tuesday, 12 August, from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm, to enjoy a day full of activities for all ages in Rātslaukums.

✨️ The event is completely free for all visitors, and the programme ranges from performances by various entertainers to the creation of a collaborative graffiti wall! Activities will be organised between 1.00 pm and 5.00 pm by the non-governmental organisations ‘Jaunatne smaidam’, ‘Mums pieder pasaule’, ‘Bauskas prātnieks’, “Wings of Hope”, “NGO Community Centre – PASTA 5”, as well as various state and local government institutions: ambassadors from the Agency for International Youth Programmes “Europeers”, the “State Police”, the “State Border Guard”, “Bauska Hospital”, the “Youth Guard Centre”, the “Bauska District Sports and Health Department” and “Visit Bauska”.

💯 The stage programme will feature the dance group “Lēra”, young performers from “Aprīļa pilieni”, as well as other talented young musicians from various parts of Latvia. To round off the day, a concert by musician Sabīne Berezina is scheduled to take place on stage at 4.00 pm, at 6.00 pm a panel discussion featuring the Minister for Welfare, R. Uzulnieks, and the Chair of Bauska District Council, A. Mačeks, and at 7.00 pm a concert by Edvards Strazdiņš.
