💯 ✨️ It was particularly meaningful to be in Rēzekne – Latvia’s youth capital – where the issue of youth participation is a highly topical and vibrant part of everyday life.
😍 During the trip, we explored Rēzekne, shared examples of good practice in promoting youth participation, and also visited the ARPC “Zeimuļs” youth centre. During the meeting, we were introduced to the plans and future activities, and we also discussed how to turn young people’s ideas into real initiatives at school, in the community and within the local authority.
💕 💡 A heartfelt thank you to all participants for their openness, initiative and active involvement. Special thanks to Armands Klapins, Chair of the Rēzekne State City Youth Council, and to Eleonora Ivanova, Youth Affairs Specialist, for their warm welcome, introduction and valuable exchange of experiences. We are delighted that we have also agreed to meet again at future events in Rēzekne.
