☀️ On 20 June in Riga, at 117A Vienības gatve, at the Riga premises of the association “Laiks Jauniešiem”, young people, families, organisations, partners, volunteers and other interested parties gathered together in the spirit of Līgo.
🙌🏻 The event was the closing ceremony for the Society Integration Foundation’s project “Together for Youth Leadership and Well-being”, during which we looked back on what had been achieved, discussed youth participation, leadership and well-being, and enjoyed a day together where young people’s voices were truly heard.
🤝🏻 Throughout the day, there were discussions on young people’s opportunities, participation and wellbeing, creative workshops, sporting activities, meetings with RFS footballers, a social media workshop with Edgars Fresh, stage performances, activities organised by various groups, large-scale games and plenty of heartfelt moments spent together.
✨️ Thank you to everyone who was part of this event – through your presence, energy, ideas, questions, smiles and willingness to get involved. It is moments like these that remind us that youth participation isn’t just a nice-sounding phrase in projects – it happens in real life, in conversations, in actions and in joint initiatives.
