🤩 The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Forest Creatures’, and we are delighted to announce that public voting is now open on all the entries submitted.
🥳 This year, educational institutions from the Bauska district took part in the competition, and a total of 24 creative, thoughtful and interesting entries were received. All of them can be viewed both digitally in this post and in person at the travelling exhibition. You can vote for your favourites both online on the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association’s Facebook page and in person at the travelling exhibition. 🙌🏻 We are truly delighted to see that educational institutions are responding to our call and that children and young people are taking an active interest in this activity. The “Laiks Jauniešiem” association strives to foster the participation of children and young people at every stage, which is why it is particularly important for us to create opportunities where, from a very young age, we can strengthen engagement, creativity and collaboration. We believe that it is precisely through creative activities that children and young people learn to express their views, get involved and play an active part in the community.
❤️ A heartfelt thank you to all 24 artists for their contribution, imagination and creative approach. Every Mežazvērs is unique and special, and each entry reflects the children’s and young people’s perspective, imagination and courage to create. We organise competitions like this to give children and young people the opportunity to develop their creativity, express their ideas, learn to collaborate and hone their teamwork skills. It is important to us to create an environment where young talents can grow, learn and inspire others through their work.
