🎯️ This time, we ran a programme on civic participation with secondary school pupils, in which we discussed what it means to be an active member of society, why young people’s views matter, and how everyone can get involved in decision-making processes at their school, in their community and in the country.
🤩 During the session, the young people also took part in a simulation game in which they took on the roles of politicians, formed their own parties, developed ideas, defended their views and learnt to argue their case, collaborate and make decisions. It was an opportunity to experience first-hand that participation is not just a theory – it begins with the ability to think, speak, listen and take action.
