šÆ šµ From 3 to 7 December, Sofija, Toms, Oskars, Alise and Laura travelled to Narva, Estonia, to attend the Security & Civil Society Conference 2025, where they represented our organisationās views and the voice of young people. It is worth noting that on 3 December, our team took part in the Nordic and Baltic cooking competition and won a well-deserved 3rd place!
šµ From 2 to 7 December, we are visiting Tbilisi and Gori in Georgia as part of the Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation (LAPAS) project āTime for Development Cooperationā, during which we networked with Georgian organisations, met with the Latvian Ambassador to Georgia, and āplanted the seedsā for a board game based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals together with our partners. On this trip, our team is represented by Gints, KatrÄ«na, Zane, ElÄ«za and LÄ«va. This is a particularly important trip with several objectives; we hope to identify key development and support scenarios here.
šµ From 1ā7 December, we are undertaking an Erasmus+ study visit entitled āImpactful Journeys 2ā, during which we are learning about the work of various organisations in Italy, specifically in the Florence region, as well as seeking closer cooperation partners on topics and current issues that are important to the āLaiks JaunieÅ”iemā team. AinÄrs, Elinda and Daniela have travelled to Italy to represent āLaiks JaunieÅ”iemā and its vision for future development.
š We believe that regularly learning about international best practices, attending conferences and networking provides an opportunity for team members to develop individually, to foster a positive team atmosphere, and to reach new heights! Weāll be back with even greater vigour to put what weāve heard and seen into practice.
š¢ YOUTH ARE OUR PRESENT!
