At the “Laiks Jauniešiem” premises, we held our second session with “Cerību spārni” activists, continuing our discussions about online safety and cybersecurity in everyday life.
We talked about how to recognise fake news, lies and misleading content, check the reliability of information and protect our data. Not everything online can be trusted, so it is important to pause and check before we click, believe or share information.
We were also pleased to introduce participants to our career app, “Open4Skills”, which we developed together with partners from Lithuania, Spain and Iceland. The app’s development is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
Step by step, we are strengthening the skills that help people feel safer and more confident in the digital environment. Thank you to “Cerību spārni” for the cooperation and to the participants for getting involved!
