Description:
The Society will organise two day camps for children and young people from Latvia and UKRAINE in August.
Two day camps will be organised:
1) From 15. From 21 to 21. August in Bauska - INLAND Culture House (aged 11-19, with possible exceptions);
2. From 22. from 1 to 28. in Iecava (aged 7-12, with possible exceptions).
Participation in the camps is free of charge and is covered by the State Centre for Education and funds granted by Bauska Municipality. The camp will start every day at 3 p.m. 9 a.m. and end at 9 a.m. 16.00. Each camp participant is provided with meals twice a day, as well as a wide range of activities and professional camp managers with experience. Children and young people from Ukraine who need to provide transport from and to the camp location - this will be provided as far as possible.
During the camp we will explore Latvian culture from different perspectives. We will play various interesting and exciting board games from our friends BRAINGAMES. Let's look at photo & video art, as well as find out about different types and tricks for your social networks. We will feel in the skin of actors and get acquainted with theatre art with the director. We will get to know and spend time together with various Latvian celebrities. We will actively spend our daily lives in various sports activities. We will explore and visit various important sights in Bauska region. Let's get acquainted with such a sport as a damret. Let's work in different creative workshops!
