We have published the final video in a series of five videos on localisation, development cooperation and our experience in Georgia.

📌 In this section, we discuss how such projects help to strengthen young people’s participation at a local level and why it is important for change to begin within communities.

🤝🏻 Local non-governmental organisations know best the needs and challenges of their communities, as well as the people they work with on a daily basis. That is precisely why localisation does not mean simply transferring ready-made solutions, but rather placing trust in local partners, their experience and their ability to develop solutions that are truly suited to the specific context.

🗣 In the video, we also discuss how the project’s results can live on after the project has ended – through new initiatives, collaborations, youth engagement and the ability of local organisations to continue the work they have started in their communities. For us, this experience has once again confirmed that the value of development cooperation lies not only in the project activities themselves, but also in what remains afterwards.
