This year we received a national award from: Ministry of Education and Science The strengthening of the annual participation in the youth field in 2023 among the regional organisations, which perfectly describe the direction taken by our organisation, as well as the quality of our work. That's what we earn -- less or more, there's no difference, we work together for the same purpose.
One of the most important events/projects in this year was the implementation of the mentor network for young people! For the greatest, thank you, to the You+ Development Platform and Manager Member of the Commission. We remind you that this year we were and are a charity marathon Give me five partners to receive funding to support young people at risk.
We continue our work in the field of charity by performing a charity marathon in Roka Roka, good works of the campaign "Children's joy in each house" as well as a charity concert in Roka Roka. This year was no exception and a significant part of the support received from Ukrainian civilians, supported by camp, humanitarian and emotional support. The charity warehouse in Saulaine continues to work in response to individual SOS requests.
We strengthened cooperation at regional and national level with non-governmental organisations to work actively on larger and better quality projects for young people. Thank you very much. √ We cannot forget about 2023. 2007 title Municipality of Bauska - Latvian Youth Capital 2023, in which our organization played a particularly active role in organizing large events: 1. The Children's and Youth Talent Competition is a talent for young people, 2. Interconnection between youth & members of the Saeima, 3. Zemgale region popiela competition for young people is beyond this if you can, 4.Youth Forum in Kurmene Youth Centre and others.
This year, the Nordic Days took place in Bauska region. Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Latvia , and we talked to embassies. We organized a joint event with the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Bauska and Iecava with a guest from Sweden, as well as looked at other perspectives of cooperation. In the second half of the year we submitted project NGOs - the Baltic Programme and received funding of EUR 12 000.
During this year, we have taken a step forward and joined organisations that unite like-minded ones - we have become a full member of the Youth Council of Latvia, and have promoted to the board our project managers - Elīza Elizabeth Loya (approved), as well as joined the Cooperation Platform as members. This year both LJP and LAPAS took part in 2 different projects, the implementation of which has already started. We continue to be represented in Bauska district rural partnership members and board members.
This year several projects have been approved - the Bauska region - the golden caplet, the young people - VISPIRMS!, the Friendship - above all!, the "Being a quality voluntary is cool" and others, each strengthening the capacity of our organization, as well as providing support for youth development. Like partners we have been in several ERASMUS+ projects, allowing young people to visit Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Estonia and Lithuania.
This is a long way to go, but at last we have come up with informal groups of young people who run the youth themselves, socialise and work to develop themselves under the leadership of the leader! Already now we have created a time for French, English, Digitalization, Photography, Erasmus+, Play etc.

Initiated cooperation with National probation service , by giving us to perform public works to offenders who have always been through works that cause them to rethink and change their actions in the near or distant future. We are also members of Zemgale Regional Advisory Council of the Probation Service. The eligible aid was National Agency for Employment support for the employment of unemployed in our organisation, which carried out various organisational and maintenance work, with particular emphasis on one guy who created our organisations www.laiksjauniesiem.lv website and now becomes a mentor of the organization for young people.
At the end of the year we have started a permanent life and started renting new premises in Bauska, Kalna iela 8/1, where we installed an office, photo studio, mentoring and almost all the activities organized by our organization. In particular, we are proud to be ourselves and to be able to call this place our home! This is a particularly great development step forward so that we continue to climb up the stairs in quality and volume of work.
At the closing event of the year, the management of the organisation awarded this year's top leaders in the nominations: Zane Grāvīte Member of the Year 2023, Elīza Elizabeth Loja We thank all volunteers for their involvement and believe that next year these awards can be yours! 🎉
The organisation could not exist without fantastic cooperation with institutions, companies and individuals.
