💫 We cannot put an exact figure on the number of people, but during the day we handed out 850 Family Passes (stamped leaflets). Many people didn’t take a passport at all, whilst for other families, one was enough for everyone. So our impression and rough estimate is that around 2,500 people attended the event throughout the day.
❗️ But the numbers aren’t the most important thing.
✍️ 🏻 The most important thing was seeing Rātslaukums packed with people: children running from one activity to the next, parents and grandparents working together, people smiling, chatting, dancing, taking part and simply spending time together. That’s exactly what we wanted this day to be – lively, heartfelt, fulfilling and family-oriented.
🙏 A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day happen alongside us – organisations, businesses, institutions, NGOs, activity leaders, artists, the technical team, volunteers, our partners and, in particular, Bauska District Council.
✨️ And the biggest thank you, of course, goes to you – the families and all the visitors. ❤️

And one more important note to conclude.
Unfortunately, following the event, we have also seen attempts in the public sphere to link this event to political campaigning. We wish to state very clearly that the presence and campaigning of any political party on the event site was not agreed with us and was not part of the Family Day programme.
We find it unacceptable that anyone should be present on the event site without prior agreement and then give the impression on social media that they were part of the event or use it to generate political publicity for themselves.
“Creative Together – Strong Together!” was and remains a family-oriented, apolitical event.
