This Sunday, 16 August, the charismatic actor Kristians Kareļins will be hosting the Family Day event ‘Creative Together – Strong Together!’ in Bauska’s Town Square!
Audiences will recognise him as Kostja from the TV series “They Lie Better” and the films “The Mushroom Pickers” and “God’s Dog”. Theatre-goers will have seen Kristians in the Latvian National Theatre’s productions of ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’, ‘The Taste of Lead’, “Peer Gynt”, “Fire and Night” and other productions.
Meanwhile, the well-known musician, “X Factor” finalist and event host Aivo Oskis will become the face of Family Day on social media! 📲 Throughout the day, Aivo will be creating exciting content, engaging visitors in various challenges and filming the most popular social media trends. Your family might just be the stars of the next video! 😄

Visitors can look forward to more than 40 tents offering creative, hands-on and educational activities, large-scale games, demonstrations by the emergency services, family discussions and a packed programme of stage performances. Performing on stage will be Shota Adamashvili, Miks Dukurs and “Riga Reggae” in an acoustic line-up, as well as Sabīne Berezina Official with the band SB&Band.
