What is your Latvia? Show it creatively! The association “Laiks Jauniešiem” invites pupils from pre-school education institutions and students from Years 1 to 12 to take part in the creative joint project “For Latvia”! This is an opportunity to express your thoughts, feelings and love for Latvia through art and poetry, showing what our country means to each of us.
We invite pre-school children to create a drawing entitled “For Latvia”, depicting anything associated with Latvia – nature, people, traditions, culture, national symbols, family or home. We invite students from Years 1 to 12 to write an original poem entitled “For Latvia”, in which the first letter of each line spells the word “LATVIJAI”. Let your imagination run free and show Latvia through your eyes!
We look forward to receiving your work by 11 November! Please deliver drawings in person to the premises of the association “Laiks Jauniešiem” at 9 Slimnīcas Street, Bauska, and send poems to evita@laiksjauniesiem.lv. When submitting your work, please include the author’s first name, surname, age and educational institution. We invite everyone to take part and create a heartfelt greeting for Latvia together!
