The LAMPA Conversation Festival in Cēsis will host an interactive discussion entitled ‘The School Microclimate 2026: Are We Creating an Environment in Which Young People Can Thrive?’
🙌🏻 The discussion will focus on what the microclimate in Latvian schools is really like and whether the educational environment helps both young people and teachers to thrive. The association “Laiks Jauniešiem” will share its experience and the findings from focus groups, gained through research into young people’s needs, family relationships, social inclusion, learning difficulties and the need for support.
🎯 We’ll discuss issues that affect the daily lives of many young people: whether young people feel heard at school, whether they have a safe environment in which to make mistakes and learn, whether teachers have sufficient support, and what each of us can do to ensure that school becomes a place where young people can not only learn, but also grow.
🔵 The discussion will feature Baiba Žiga, Madara Budova and Gints Jankovskis, Chair of the Board of the association “Laiks Jauniešiem”.
