For the fifth year in a row, the Society has organized a charity campaign for young people.The children's joy in every house was to please children and young people at Christmas, for whom this gift and festive joy is impossible due to different living conditions.
In this year's campaign the Society actively cooperated with the Social Services of the State Probation Service Zemgale Region, Football Club RFS, Bauska and Salaspils District, as well as other NGOs promoting the quality of the project and, in particular, evaluating the target audience of the recipients of gifts, so that gifts reach families who really need help.
The time for young people on behalf of the team would like to express my sincere thanks to the responsive companies, educational institutions, individuals and public/municipal institutions involved in the implementation of this charity. Only together, we are able to bring joy and smiles to the family, where otherwise it wouldn't be possible - we can create smiles in families where it is not an ordinary activity - says Gints Jankovskis, head of the association Youth Time.
This year, 331 households were delighted together, bringing joy to 1060 children and young people from different regions of Latvia. We would like to express our gratitude to VENIPAK for providing the opportunity to send and receive packages that could not be delivered/received by themselves.
The idea of the association was born in 2019. At the end of 2009, when we met specialists from various fields, we agreed that we would like to establish a non-governmental organisation, providing support to Latvian children and young people by organising massage free of charge informal education events. Currently we are a stable organization with specific values and direction of development - we are represented in the Youth Council of Latvia, Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation (LAPAS), Rural Partnership of Bauska district, Partnership of Bauska region youth organisations, International Network of Youth Express Network, as well as in various groups of initiatives, comments the Chairman of the Board Gints Jankovskis.
