Description: The project "Good goods cabinet" (the point of exchange of clothing, other useful things) was organized during the Covid-19 pandemic, together with the administration of Išlīce parish, concludes its activities at the Īslīce Culture House. In total, following all epidemiological requirements, people from all parts of Latvia visited it in several months. The estimated number of visitors is estimated at over 1000 households.
Thanks to all individuals for the donations of clothing, dishes and household appliances. Your support for this exchange point was invaluable. At the end of the project our young people sorted and arranged 482 banana boxes with roundabouts and 31 bags with jackets and shoes. After placing the advertisement, the large amount of donations went to 12 organizations and to several individuals for further - purposeful distribution.
We would like to thank all the volunteers who have been active throughout these months in the cabinet of good belongings and who have looked after it, most of all we would like to say - EVITAI, ALEKSANDRAI, IRINI, NIJOLEI, ARNIM, as well as our superb youth team.
Our organisation plans to continue and develop the project in the summer - we will shortly report on its progress. The Society will continue to organize a charity marathon
