Together with representatives of organisations from 8 European countries, we worked on an international training course for youth workers to take place in November.
The main objective of these trainings will be to strengthen the competences of youth workers in order to be able to involve young people more effectively, both as active actors and as actors in the planning and implementation of youth activities. Without the participation of young people in the process, it is often difficult to fully respond to their real needs.
During the visit:
- improved the content and structure of the training activities,
- we looked at the location of the training and its opportunities,
- we discussed methods to promote the active involvement of young people,
- as well as getting to know partner organisations and their experience of working with youth in different countries.
Although the visit was short, it was valuable both for organisations participating in training and for learners, as it helped to develop a process of content-based and quality training.
