The Latvian Football Federation has organized an integration and cohesion event for young people.Futbols, we are united! 21 December 2003 and 22. November.
During this event, organisations free of charge gave children and young people an opportunity to see the capital of Poland Warsaw, as well as to go to support the Latvian football team in the test game against the Polish team. The game took place at the impressive Warsaw Casimir Gorsk National Stadium, which has a capacity of 58 145 seats, but unfortunately ended with the loss of the Latvian team of 0:2.
"Youth organization for young people" has worked daily with young people of social risks and streets in Bauska region, implementing a mentor support programme ."We - YOUTHERS."We wanted to give young people an opportunity to see another country, get new impressions, network and collaborate. Every day we organize various integration events - cohesion events and note that football is one of our most special forms, thus creating excellent cooperation. During the event young people performed various tasks, which in the future can promote cooperation, inclusion skills and full development, Gints Jankovskis, the Head of the Association.
The Latvian Football Federation notes that on this trip, in cooperation with the association "Youth time" and other organisations, we selected 40 young people who have recently shown their active participation by visiting various events and cooperating with each other. Some fans of the Society's Vilku force, association's time for youth mentors, members and association's Resilance Centre Elizabeth Marta Heinsone, who helped in organizing the event and provided various support to mentors and young people.
This is not the first campaign organized by the Youth Day and the Latvian Football Federation, last year young people were given the opportunity to go to the capital city of Riga for free to visit and play football ♫ Playoff Arena. We hope that we will be able to offer this kind of opportunity and cooperation to our most expensive present and future in the future.
