A digital module for exploring the UN Sustainable Development Goals has been created through cooperation between Latvia and Georgia
What do the UN Sustainable Development Goals mean in our daily lives? As part of a cooperation project between Latvia and Georgia, the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association has created a digital learning module that helps young people and adults explore all 17 goals and see how they relate to real-life situations.
The module combines explanations, practical tasks and videos in Latvian, English and Georgian. It invites users to think about issues such as quality education, equality, responsible consumption, the environment and cooperation. During the learning process, participants can track their progress and receive a certificate after completing all 17 goals.
“The Sustainable Development Goals can seem distant until we see them in our school, workplace or community. With this module, we want to help people understand how their everyday choices and participation are connected to broader goals for change,” says Gints Jankovskis, Chair of the Board of the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association.
The module can be used independently, as well as in schools, youth centres, non-governmental organisations and adult education classes. To start learning and save your progress, you need to create a free account on the website or log in to an existing one.

The module was developed as part of the project “Young People for Sustainable Participation – the Latvia–Georgia Cooperation Network and a Digital Learning Model for Understanding the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG Connect Georgia)”, implemented by the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association in cooperation with the Georgian organisation “The Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth Georgia”.
The project is being implemented במסגרת the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ 2026 grant project competition, “Support for Development Cooperation Projects in the Recipient Countries Designated by the Republic of Latvia”.
