We have addressed all the political parties known to us in Bauska County elections to conclude a memorandum of cooperation BEFORE and AFTER the municipal elections, to travel the quality of youth work and a smarter strategic vision in this area.
(after signature - or planned sequence of signing): National Association, Unity, For the development of Latvia, the Greens and Farmers' Union, the New Conservative Party, the Joint List - absolutely all political forces after mutually interested negotiations - without any clarification, the Memorandum was signed or will be done in the next few days. The memorandum has been signed directly by the political party Bauska units.
The objective of the Memorandum is to promote the development of civil society and the political participation of young people, as well as the inclusion of key issues on the political agenda for young people, thus contributing to raising awareness of issues relevant to young people in policies of different sizes.
A political party is considering including 2025. In the municipal election programmes, the main points from the BAuskas Municipality YOUTH POLICY guideline in 2024-2028 are also taken into account by the national youth organisations.
A consultation event will be organised where young people can express their views on youth issues and their inclusion on the political agenda, as well as educational seminars and workshops that will raise young people's awareness of political processes and their involvement in elections.
The party undertakes to participate in the ERASMUS+ participation project.
