🔵 🎯 The aim of the visit was to learn about the workings of the European Parliament and its role in shaping European Union policy, as well as the contribution made by Inese Vaidere, a Member of the European Parliament, to the development of Latvia and Europe. This experience provided a deeper understanding of the workings of the European institutions, democratic participation and Latvia’s role in the overall development of Europe.
🗣 To quote Līva: “The European Parliament is a place where national interests are transformed into a shared vision for Europe’s future – through cooperation, experience and responsible decision-making.”
