šŸŽ“ An informal approach to career guidance – practical training in Bauska and Riga!

šŸŽÆ šŸ“± We invite teachers, career advisers and youth workers to take part in free non-formal education training sessions, where we will explore and put into practice new approaches to working with young people in the field of career guidance. During the training, you’ll have the opportunity to try out the career guidance methodology developed as part of the ā€œOpen4Skillsā€ project, as well as to test a free mobile app, which will be available in Latvian, Lithuanian, Spanish, Icelandic and English.

Venues and times

  • šŸ“ 12 September in Bauska – at the premises of the association ā€œLaiks JaunieÅ”iemā€, 9 SlimnÄ«cas Street
  • šŸ“ 19 September in Riga – at the office of the ā€œMājaā€ Club, 8 Kungu Street
  • ā° On both days: 10.00–17.00

šŸ«±šŸ»ā€šŸ«²šŸ½ During the training sessions, we will discuss non-formal education methods, career guidance opportunities when working with young people, present the results achieved by the ā€œOpen4Skillsā€ project, and strengthen inter-institutional cooperation. The main focus will be on practical activities – not just listening, but trying out, testing and evaluating the tools developed for yourselves.

šŸ”µ Participation in the training is free of charge. We will also provide refreshments for participants during the training. The training content, materials, trainers and other costs associated with the training are funded under the Erasmus+ KA220 project ā€œOpen4Skillsā€, with co-financing from the European Union. All participants will be issued with non-formal education certificates upon completion of the training programme.
