This event takes place every two years. From our team, board member Elīza Loja went to this event.
Over 2 days, more than 450 different activities took place in parallel with the European Parliament and the nearby event town. There was an opportunity to participate in activities and workshops on various topics, such as mental temperament, youth participation, inclusion, digital development and others.
Elīza attended activities on young people's participation, the role of NGOs in society, the development of democracy in the future, and the increase in citizens' participation in elections. Each activity was able to gain new knowledge and prospects on these issues, which will certainly be useful for future work.
This measure was very valuable, first of all, because it was possible to stay in the European Parliament, where important decisions were made. What made this opportunity even more interesting was the fact that young people from all over Europe were all around us - each with their own story, vision, and all together learn something new. This created confidence that young people really are our present.
