The ‘Mežazvērs’ creative competition organised by the ‘Laiks Jauniešiem’ association has come to an end!

🙌🏻 For the second year running, the association “Laiks Jauniešiem” invited educational institutions in the Bauska district to take part in a creative and exciting competition, in which children and young people can express their imagination, creativity and courage to create something truly unique. This year, the competition received 24 diverse and well-thought-out entries, each of which was special in its own way.

☀️ We would like to say a huge thank you to all the children, young people, teachers and educational institutions for their involvement, hard work and creative approach. It gives us great pleasure to see that children and young people are keen to take part in activities where they can develop their imagination, work together and give free rein to their ideas.

🏆 Competition winners:

🥇 1st place – Skaistkalne Preschool “Taurenīši” with their entry “Pablo the Hedgehog”

🥈 2nd place – “Ķipari”, a branch of Pilsrundāle Secondary School in Svitenes, with the entry “Zeltpūcīte”

🥉 3rd place – Enija Boiko, a pupil at Vecumnieki Art and Music School, with her entry “Kaķis Ķepa”

❤️ Each “Mežazvērs” was unique, and every piece of work reflected the children’s and young people’s perspectives, their wealth of imagination and their creative spirit. We believe that it is precisely through such activities that we can strengthen children’s and young people’s participation, self-expression and confidence in their own abilities.
