We, Time for Young People , we regularly draw Members, local governments and the public's attention to the quality/effectiveness of performing work with youth in Bauska region, we care about the representation of young people's interests, their opportunities to spend their free time of quality and creativity outside formal education.
In a large part of the decisions the members of the Municipal Council are NOT DIVERSITY, but a specific performer (s) who prepare and adopt a concrete vision and direction of working with young people in certain territories, especially highlighting the territory of the Bauska Association, in which several parishes do not perform an effective job, as well as in Bauska city youth house activities (after cosmetic repairs) are not performed for more than a year. The easiest way out of the situation is to turn on the defence response and attack with reproach, rather than acknowledge the long-term failure of its work area. Recently, it seems that decisions are made by people who are NOT competent with youth.
√ We are proposing to finally find a compromise - to put down our ambitions, prejudices - a displeasure and give priority to young people. By pooling resources, we are confident that we can achieve excellent performance indicators. We hope that a public opinion paper will serve as an invitation to an open discussion at a table or in an informal setting.
Unfortunately, to date, since 2022. A reasoned opinion of the organization of year with facts, as well as performance indicators NOT ALWAYS in Bauska municipality will lead to a positive result and REAL efficiency. This will not change until the municipality's employees prioritize the PATK/NECK human or organization rather than the best offer for young people in Bauska. That is why we decided to make our feelings and positions public.
Gints Jankovsky, director of the Youth Service, at TV24, gave his personal and organizational opinion on many issues - of which citizens' councils and cooperation with the Local Government. We will always defend the opinion of the majority of our organisation, as well as let us assert the fairness and effective use of municipal funding.
