We took part Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation - LAPAS at the general meeting of members, during which we learned about the organization's topicalities, participated in working groups and listened to a valuable panel discussion on various international and local topical issues, in which Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica, member of the Saeima, Head of the Latvian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Evgeny Rjašchenko-Charak, Minister of Defence's Adviser on Defence Planning and Sustainability, Katarīna Plāter, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bilateral Relations Directorate, Līga Renkmane, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Development Cooperation Policy

During the discussion we gained valuable knowledge about global development issues, various political developments in the world and Latvia.
There were also LAPAS Council elections, with great joy and pride to inform us that our Chairman of the Board Gints Jankovsky elected member of the Board of LAPAS.
We will continue to cooperate widely and represent the interests of young people at various levels, including on global issues, with particular attention to the representation of young people with fewer opportunities, as they are often a group that remains unheard.
We have been working with LAPAS for several years, engaging in various activities and taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the organisation, we are very pleased to be able to participate more actively in the council in the future.
