💯 Today we visited our partner organisations, the “Youth Forum for Sustainable Development and European Integration” and “Youth for Democracy”, to discuss our plans for cooperation and strengthen ties between young people in Georgia and Latvia. 🇬🇪 🇱🇻
🙌🏻 We were then warmly welcomed by the Latvian Ambassador to Georgia, Edīte Medne, who expressed her support for cross-border cooperation and listened to the pressing issues raised by young people from both Latvia and Georgia.
❤️ We truly appreciate this interest and responsiveness, because although the political situation in Georgia does not currently align with European values, young people in Georgia are courageously expressing their support for democratic values.
🎯 As part of the ‘Time for Development Cooperation’ project, we are only just getting started, and this is an exciting beginning to our journey! In February, we plan to submit a joint ERASMUS+ project, as well as explore other project areas in order to provide support and get involved.
