🔵 During this period, we regularly ran workshops entitled ‘Workshops for young people and their parents’ and ‘Social skills workshops for a specific target group’, in which young people were given support, discussed various topical issues and strengthened their communication skills both within the family and amongst their peers.
🗣 🎯 Alongside the workshops, mentoring sessions for young people requiring individual support were also actively carried out throughout all three months. The mentoring sessions helped young people feel heard, receive encouragement and practical help in resolving various issues, whilst boosting their confidence, personal growth and ability to engage more confidently in everyday situations.
📱 ✍️ 🏻During this time, work on the development of the app also made significant progress. In March, a meeting was held with the developers to discuss the app’s content, functionality and visual design; a study based on data gathered during focus groups was also received. In April, work on the app’s development continued, and a presentation of the study was prepared for the project partners, the Bauska District Council and the Probation Service, to jointly discuss the key findings and the project’s future development.
