The main objective of the project is to reduce discrimination against the three target groups: young people on the basis of age, people with mental disabilities, often referred to as lifelong children, who are discriminated against on the grounds of disability and those facing ethnic prejudice. The project aims to ensure equal opportunities for these groups by promoting respectful attitudes and social inclusion. 🤝
The project will be implemented events in five regions of Latvia, which will promote cooperation and communication between employees and employers, as well as understanding of young people's abilities and the need to involve young people in the labour market. Young people will also have the opportunity to receive career counselling, develop and develop their skills to be better able to enter the labour market. A variety of activities will also be provided that will promote integration into daily activities and events - in cooperation with Latvian football champions Football Club RF S will organise football activity and attend games.
In addition, special attention will be paid to young people - foreign students - who are discriminated against on a daily basis on the basis of ethnic and racial origin not only on the labour market but also on a daily basis. A secure environment will be provided, which will be a well-maintained space where representatives of discriminated groups will be able to stay in daily life, develop cooperation and contacts, implement various activities to promote cultural awareness, as well as integration in Latvia, reduce discrimination and prejudice, promote their growth. This site will offer various types of information and support that will promote understanding of Latvia, opportunities in the labour market and everyday life, thus reducing discrimination and promoting better access to opportunities. 🇱🇻
