✍️ 🏻In educational institutions in the Bauska municipality: Bauska State Grammar School – 3, Bauska Primary School – 2, Pilrundāle Secondary School – 1, totalling 99 participants. Young people and teachers from various social groups took part in the focus groups, including young people from social risk groups.
🎯 The aim of these meetings is not simply to have a chat – it is a targeted data collection exercise on young people’s needs and wishes, to gain a precise understanding of what helps young people in their daily lives, what hinders them, and where there are currently gaps in support systems. During the discussions, we will explore topics that affect young people’s well-being and ability to learn: family relationships, social inclusion, learning difficulties, conflict situations and the support available.
🗣 The data and insights gathered will be passed on to a researcher, who will compile and analyse them and provide recommendations for further action. This information will form the basis for adapting the app’s development so that it meets real needs and becomes a practical, user-friendly tool for resolving family conflicts and promoting mutual understanding.
📌 The focus group cycle was carried out over a specific period from 1 January 2026 to 30 January 2026 (six sessions in total), and the feedback received from participants will help to develop a solution based on experience rather than assumptions.
