✨️ On this occasion, the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association visited Valles Primary School and the Valles “Cielaviņa” Pre-school, where we spoke with the children and young people about participation and its importance in everyday life. The youngest children (in pre-school and Years 1–3) learnt the basics of participation and, using a play-based approach, took their first steps. Meanwhile, pupils in Years 4–6 and 7–9 took part in a participation simulation, in which they ‘stepped into someone else’s shoes’, experiencing two different life situations and gaining a better understanding of different perspectives and decision-making.
