We are continuing our visits to educational institutions across Latvia – this time, we met with Year 7 pupils from Riga French Lyceum! We introduced the young people to the two new “Laiks Jauniešiem” apps, their features and ways to use them in everyday life.
“Do You Understand?” helps young people, parents and educators to understand one another better and improve their communication. The mobile app was developed as part of the social innovation project “A Path to Understanding”, supported by the Society Integration Foundation and co-funded by the European Union. The project partners are Bauska Municipality and the State Probation Service.
Meanwhile, the careers app “Open4Skills” encourages young people to think about their skills and future opportunities. It was developed as part of an “Erasmus+” KA220 cooperation partnership project together with partners from Spain, Iceland and Lithuania, with the Lithuanian partners taking the lead. The development of the app is co-funded by the European Union through the “Erasmus+” programme.
More than 500 people have already downloaded both mobile apps! We encourage you to try them too and use them in your everyday life – for better mutual understanding and more thoughtful choices about the future.
