The “Laiks Jauniešiem” association, together with the Riga Student Council, has actively begun implementing the “Riga’s Generation of Participation” project!
We have already held several meetings and are actively preparing for the project activities. Discussions with decision-makers have been particularly valuable — Renāte Mencendorfa from the Ministry of Education and Science, Anna Ločmele and Agnese Kalniņa from the Latvian Youth Agency, Dmitrijs Zverevs from the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, and Laima Geikina from Riga City Council. Our heartfelt thanks to you for your responsiveness, involvement and valuable suggestions, which we will take into account during the further implementation of the project!
A number of valuable activities for young people are still ahead, including two-day training sessions to strengthen student councils. We are very grateful for the opportunity to implement this project together with the Riga Student Council and to take significant steps towards closer cooperation with Riga’s educational institutions.
Young people are our PRESENT!
