More than 40 civilians from Latvia and Ukraine are taking part in an event aimed at strengthening mutual ties and inclusion by going on a trip around Zemgale.

💡 🙌🏻 Together, we explored the ‘Pakāpiens’ Youth Centre in Jelgava and discussed youth work and opportunities for participation and collaboration in the Zemgale region. A special thank you goes to Oskars, the centre’s manager, for taking the time to meet us on his day off.

📌 Afterwards, we visited Jelgava and Rundāle Palaces, learning about their history and marvelling at these architectural gems under the guidance of a tour guide.

💙 To round off the day, we took part in creative cultural activities at the Grenctāle Cultural Centre, led by its director, Jurgita Červinska. Thank you for the warm and lovely welcome – we really enjoyed it!
