We are continuing our series ‘Time for a STORY’, in which young people with a variety of experiences will share their stories and inspire others.

We visited Riga Secondary School No. 33, where we met more than 100 young people whilst organising activities throughout the day for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils (there are several such classes).

On 19 November, we held a team-building intergenerational event at the SAC ‘Gaiļezers’, where, together with our active young people, we organised a quiz for senior citizens from Latvia and Ukraine on Latvian history, nature and traditions, with a focus on the National Day celebrations.

We, the team at the “Laiks Jauniešiem” association, would like to invite you personally to visit the pre-Christmas market at Rundāles Avoti as the festive season approaches!

Elīza, Anna and Paula are currently on a training course in Lithuania with our friends from there. We are gaining new project writing and management skills and preparing our Erasmus+ KA220 application.

We are continuing our series ‘Time for a STORY’, in which young people with a variety of experiences will share their stories and inspire others.

We visited Riga Secondary School No. 33, where we met more than 100 young people whilst organising activities throughout the day for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils (there are several such classes).

We are continuing with the project ‘STEM and civic engagement for a broader educational experience and career choices’, offering a variety of lessons for pre-school, primary, lower secondary and upper secondary schools.

The “Laiks Jauniešiem” association invites you to visit its RIGA premises at 117a Vienības gatve!

Dārta Garā performed as the ninth entrant in the “Youth Has Talent 2025” competition organised by the association Laiks Jauniešiem. To the great surprise of the jury and the audience, she convincingly won first place in the under-12 age category.

From 4 to 12 November, members of our team – Elīza, Katrīna, Paula and Līva had a fantastic opportunity to take part in the Erasmus+ youth workers’ training course ‘EmpoweED’, which focused on promoting youth participation and strengthening communities.
