Project Objective
Our main objective is to empower and inspire those involved in youth work in Latvia,
Lithuania and Iceland to build networks, and to exchange examples of good practice, so that more young people become active volunteers, whilst promoting international cooperation and cultural
understanding. The aim of this project is to significantly increase the popularity
of youth volunteering in Latvia, Lithuania and Iceland, as well as to develop volunteering systems, their
procedures and motivation, thereby creating a lasting positive impact.
Key Activities
- Meetings between organisations and the development of joint project methodologies to foster an understanding of youth volunteering and a positive attitude towards international cooperation, thereby promoting a lasting impact on the empowerment of young people
- A four-day exchange trip during which organisations from Iceland and Lithuania will visit Latvia.
- Four-day trips involving a Latvian organisation visiting Iceland and Lithuania, fostering intercultural links and a positive impact on communities with the aim of promoting collaborative learning and international partnerships.
Expected Project Outcomes
Expected outcomes include a measurable impact on society, increased public awareness, the dissemination of knowledge
and an expanded network of partners. Our aim is to bring about lasting positive change
in the communities we serve and to engage a range of stakeholders, including government agencies,
schools and local communities.
