Project Objective
The aim of the project is to promote the development of secure and emotionally supportive relationships within families, by creating an environment in which family members can share positive and creative activities, thereby strengthening psychological and emotional resilience. This objective is directly linked to the objectives of the Programme and the Competition, which aim to create an environment that promotes effective social integration and improved well-being for children and their families.
Modern society faces serious emotional and social problems that significantly affect the well-being of families and children. Broken families often face emotional strain and relationship difficulties. Based on our day-to-day work and experience, many families report social isolation, which has a negative impact on children’s emotional development. The project’s activities will focus on addressing these issues. The family is the fundamental social unit that provides emotional support and stability for children. However, given that an increasing number of families are facing stressful situations, there is a growing risk that children will experience behavioural problems and low self-esteem. This increase highlights an urgent need for measures that strengthen family bonds and improve emotional intelligence.
The creative and educational activities planned as part of the project will provide a platform where families can learn and engage in shared activities, fostering mutual support. All activities will focus on fostering secure and emotionally supportive relationships within each family, providing families with the opportunity to practise communication, trust and understanding, thereby strengthening emotional bonds and improving overall family dynamics. In line with previous initiatives undertaken by our organisation, it has been demonstrated that a large proportion of participants have
improved their relationships with their family members and increased their emotional security. This highlights
the need for access to mentors for children and young people, which we plan to utilise to work on
building relationships within families as well.
