Project Objective
The aim of the project is to promote the integration and active participation in society of young people with limited opportunities, through football and various community activities, thereby creating equal opportunities and a supportive environment for their emotional and social development.
Project Target Group
The project’s target group comprises young people aged between 13 and 25 who face social risk factors and various difficulties, such as financial problems, integration issues and economic barriers, and who have not previously been actively involved in youth work. These young people may come from a variety of social or economic backgrounds and may have various diagnoses or specific needs that may limit their opportunities and access to community activities and resources.
Although the target group comprises young people with diverse needs and experiences, the aim of the project is to ensure equal opportunities and a supportive environment for all participants, promoting their emotional and social development through collaborative football activities and community initiatives.
Key Activities
- Public awareness-raising and publicity campaigns were organised regarding the project and its objectives, in order to attract wider public support and attention to this area.
- A football match and training session were organised for young people with disabilities together with the FC RFS team to promote sporting activity, physical health and teamwork.
- Three seminars will be organised on the importance of sport, personal hygiene and a healthy lifestyle, attended by both professional athletes and team specialists to provide advice and support to young people. An expert in the field – a lecturer – will be invited to take part.
- A group trip to a football match will be organised so that young people can take part in a sporting event and enjoy the experience.
- A group trip to a football match and the opportunity to get involved in voluntary work, organising and leading creative activities designed for the youngest match-goers.
- Organising a single sporting event that will be accessible to all young people. The event will feature various sports stations and activities designed for all levels and abilities, thereby promoting social integration and entertainment in an inclusive environment.
Expected Project Outcomes
Football matches and training sessions with the FC RFS team will promote physical activity and health among young people, as well as developing teamwork and cooperation. Three seminars on the importance of sport, personal hygiene and a healthy lifestyle will provide young people with practical advice and knowledge, whilst also promoting an understanding of healthy living and better self-care. Joint trips to football matches and creative activities will promote young people’s social integration and involvement in shared activities, thereby creating an equal and supportive environment for everyone involved.
Increased public awareness and understanding of the integration and participation of young people with disabilities in society, fostering support and understanding regarding this issue. Increased participation of young people with limited opportunities in sporting activities and physical health promotion, through taking part in football matches and training sessions alongside professional athletes. Increased social integration and teamwork through participation in joint events and trips to football matches, thereby promoting the emotional and social development of young people. Greater access to volunteering and creative opportunities for young people with limited opportunities, through participation in creative workshops and other organised events.
The sustainability of the project will be ensured by implementing measures and activities that promote the continued involvement of young people in the community and in sporting activities after the project has ended. This includes regular football matches and training sessions, community activities and sporting events, which will continue after the project concludes. The project will also foster cooperation with local communities and organisations to ensure sustainable support and opportunities for young people with limited opportunities.
