Project Objective
The aim of the project is to strengthen cooperation between rural educational institutions in the Bauska district, developing young people’s leadership skills and enhancing the prestige of these institutions. Pupils from five educational institutions in Bauska Municipality will take part in the project: Pilsrundāle Secondary School, Skaistkalne Secondary School, Code Primary School, Uzvara Primary School and Griķi Primary School. Three to four young people from each school will take part in a three-day leadership academy, the aim of which is to improve the standard of pupil self-governance, promote cooperation and enhance the prestige of the educational institutions.
Project Target Group

Main Activities
The project’s activities will be designed to meet the needs and interests of young people, promoting their development and involvement in community life. The target group will be actively involved in all training sessions and activities to ensure their full participation and engagement.
Expected project outcomes
Finally, each self-governance team will be allocated funding, coordinated by the ‘Laiks Jauniešiem’ team, to organise activities at their educational institution.
