Project Objective
The aim of the project is to educate young people about the nature, impact and use of artificial intelligence, in order to promote the sensible and responsible use of this technology. The project will develop young people’s critical thinking and analytical skills, enabling them to assess the impact of artificial intelligence on society. Particular attention will be paid to social inclusion, providing support and opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities. At the same time, the project will foster intercultural understanding and cooperation by promoting the exchange of experiences amongst young people from different countries, as well as gender equality in the understanding and use of technology, by offering an accessible and inclusive non-formal education programme.
Project Target Group
Participants from three different countries will take part in the project; from each country, we will invite 12 participants aged between 14 and 18, as well as 1–2 group leaders. Our youth initiative group has set the condition that at least 6 participants from each country must be young people with limited opportunities, namely, young people who are in a category of social risk, or who face economic, rural or functional barriers or difficulties. We invite representatives from each group to consider gender balance in order to promote an equitable distribution of groups across countries. We ask each country to assess the situation and give all interested parties the opportunity to apply, selecting the most suitable candidates from among them and giving priority to young people in the social risk category.

Expected Project Outcomes
As a result of the project, participants will gain a broader understanding of the concepts of artificial intelligence, its applications and impact on society, as well as knowledge of technology education and digital practices in modern society. Critical thinking and analytical skills, communication and collaboration skills will be developed, as well as a creative approach to project development and presentation on artificial intelligence topics. Participants will improve their intercultural communication skills, fostering mutual understanding and dialogue between representatives of different cultures. In addition, trust, honest communication, self-confidence and the ability to participate in discussions on artificial intelligence issues will be strengthened. These outcomes will enhance participants’ ability to understand artificial intelligence as both a technological and a social phenomenon, develop skills for the responsible and informed use of technology, and will foster mutual understanding between different cultures.
