The ‘TIME FOR YOUTH’ charity campaign page, where we are offering handmade Advent wreaths in exchange for donations. Last year, through the Advent wreath campaign, we fulfilled our dream – the purchase of a minibus for the organisation’s needs. This year, we would like to allocate the funds raised to organising our activities, so that we can offer a wide range of activities in both Bauska and Riga.

Please take a look at the Advent wreaths currently available, which you can purchase in exchange for a donation of your choice to help us achieve our dream. The minimum donation is 20 EUR, which covers materials, time spent and other expenses (close to cost price). The bases of the Advent wreaths range from 20 to 30 cm, whilst the finished wreaths have diameters ranging from 30 to 40 cm.

We offer a variety of colours, styles and techniques.

How to purchase:

1. Visit the Laiks Jauniešiem office (in Bauska, 9 Slimnīcas Street or in Riga, 117a Vienības Street) and purchase an Advent wreath in person by making a cash donation into the donation box (please check availability in advance – not all wreaths are in stock);
2. Donate via the website https://www.laiksjauniesiem.lv/ziedot/, specifying the exact amount you wish to donate, by pre-ordering an Advent wreath via email: zane@laiksjauniesiem.lv or by telephone: +371 20 716 461. Please specify the relevant number from the list provided on the website.
3. We will deliver larger orders to the door of your organisation/business upon receipt of the donation – either in the donation box or via a bank terminal.

These wreaths are special because they are designed and created by young people and staff from various social groups, including people with disabilities participating in the State Employment Agency’s subsidised employment scheme.
