The “Time for Young People” team wishes everyone a happy First Sunday of Advent!

A festive Christmas market at “Rundāles avoti” in a wonderful atmosphere! We at “Laiks Jauniešiem” are today talking about opportunities for children and young people – in Bauska, Latvia and Europe!

A huge thank you to all our followers and those who engage with our content. Over the 90 days from 30 August to today, you have viewed our content – across TikTok, Instagram and our Facebook page – a total of 1,364,188 times.

On 24 November, together with the young people, we explored which skills help us develop as leaders and which ones tend to hold us back.

We visited the pre-school at Īslīce Primary School, as well as the school itself, covering Years 1 to 9, to deliver lessons at various levels appropriate to the children’s ages.

On Saturday, the “Time for Young People” team travelled to Iecava, where our friends at the “BUTS” training centre were hosting a painting exhibition entitled “WHERE THE EARTH BREATHES”. We’d like to highlight the brilliant work of the artist, Liene Gusta!

This week we visited Bauska Secondary School No. 2 for the Zemgale Careers Forum

Meet the team – most of the active team at Laiks Jauniešiem in one ‘shot’. Together, we are strong, united by a common goal and vision for working with young people!

This Wednesday, 26 November, we visited Līvāni Secondary School No. 1, where we organised a Career Forum in Latgale.

As part of the European Solidarity Project ‘LJ Energy Station’, ‘Time for Young People’ is organising an informal group for young people called ‘Time for ART’.
