On 20 and 21 June, we held a lovely Līgo celebration together with the elderly residents at the “Derpele” social care centre

‘Time for Young People’ supported the staff at the ‘Zīlīte’ pre-school in organising a Midsummer celebration for the children – we welcomed the children in the morning with smiles and Midsummer songs, despite the poor weather.

‘Time for Young People’ supported the staff at the ‘Zīlīte’ pre-school in organising a Midsummer celebration for the children – we welcomed the children in the morning with smiles and Midsummer songs, despite the poor weather.

On 19 June, Gints, the head of Laiks Jauniešiem, and Zane, a member of the board, took part in an event organised by the State Probation Service entitled ‘The community as an inclusive resource for achieving socialisation objectives in society’.

On 19 June, Gints, the head of Laiks Jauniešiem, and Zane, a member of the board, took part in an event organised by the State Probation Service entitled ‘The community as an inclusive resource for achieving socialisation objectives in society’.

Between 12 and 15 June, Paula, an activist with the organisation, took part in a preparatory visit to Italy organised by Jonathan Cooperativa Sociale.

From 7 to 16 June, a six-person delegation from the organisation “Laiks Jauniešiem” took part in the Erasmus+ youth exchange project “Back to the roots” in Orymlia, Greece.

The ‘Night of Participation Stories’, organised by the association ‘Laiks Jauniešiem’, will take place on 2–3 July at the ‘Brieži’ guest house in Vecsaules parish, Bauska district.

We at Laiks Jauniešiem are delighted to be able to continue implementing the project “Creative Together, Strong Together!” as part of the Society Integration Foundation’s project competition ‘Organising regional events to create a family-friendly environment (2025)’.

From 13 to 14 June, one of the largest youth events in Europe took place in Strasbourg – the “European Youth Event”, which brought together a total of nearly 10,000 young people from various European countries.
