PastDecember 7, 2025Following the rigged elections in 2024, Georgia’s ruling party, ‘Georgian Dream’, has pushed through the so-called ‘Russian law’ – the ‘Foreign Influence Transparency’ Act, which stipulates that media organisations and NGOs receiving more than 20 per cent of their funding from abroad must be registered as ‘foreign agents’.
